I was born in 1979 and raised near philadelphia, and attended the university of pennsylvania, where I received a degree in philosophy. I studied at the galloup school of lutherie in big rapids, michigan in 2001. Upon returning to philadelphia I spent a short period working for a custom cabinet maker, and following that I worked with victor baker, a master archtop guitar builder, for 2 years. I make a handful of guitars every year in a barn behind my home in gladwyne, pennsylvania. Each of my instruments is unique, and is built by hand, by me, one at a time.
